A venture studio in Portland, Oregon

Good software shouldn’t just be for big companies.

Powerful tools have mostly been built for larger businesses. We build them for individuals, affordable and often free.

Ayuda means help.
That’s not an accident.

Each product starts with one person and the work they do every day: teaching lessons, looking after a house, getting back to a career. We build what would help that person, and we keep building it with them.

Why now

AI has changed what it takes to build serious software.

We use it to make software that stands up to the biggest names in each field. And because we’re starting fresh, we can listen, adjust, and add what people need faster.

How we work

We listen. We spend time with the people doing the work and learn how their days actually go.

We build. We ship a real product and keep improving it based on what they tell us.

We grow. When it works, it becomes its own company and reaches more people in more places.

A Portland venture studio, led by Doug Hanson.

Doug has run and scaled businesses at Microsoft, Amazon, Grubhub and Vivid Seats. Ayuda is where he and his team build new companies, and where founders can build theirs alongside them.
